• I believe that my friend had gotten her account banned a few weeks after the five new emotions (burning, cheese, dramallama, wahmbulance, and emo) had come out supposedly a few weeks before the release of the "Gaia mmorpg". Since then I haven't been online much and decided to check things out, this writing submission being one of them. The first thing I noticed was the Gaia cash button. It didn't surprise me much that Gaia had found a new way for naive teenagers to steal their parent's credit cards for gold, myself included and one point, but the fact that some of these items were inflating faster than rehab-Britney.

My point is that in order to feel adequate and sufficient in their gold banks and pixely attire, one must obtain and spend monies on items that will make them look better to the average page browser.

I ask you fellow Gaians, to ask yourself if the reality that I have just mentioned above sounds familiar in any way to what we humans do in real life. If it does, ask yourself this, wasn't the old reason to join gaia to chat and talk with friends and avoid the problems of "reality"? Whereas now a Betty Suárez refuses to talk to a Brad Pitt because he wouldn't spend the extra bucks on a black bow tie to make up for his avatar's lack of good looks.
