• You may or may not have heard it on the news. Plainfield isn't a big town. Over ten years ago, I had this lady who taught first aid in highschool. She was a lady that you couldn't help but love. When the unit on addiction came around, she told us the story of her first husband who had died of an overdose and trying to explain things to their kid about why Daddy wasn't around.
Fast forward to two years ago, a local story about a teacher who was found murdered by her husband, who then ran into the road and was struck by multiple cars. Many police reports said that he had been in domestic violence cases in the past with her. She was also battling cancer at the time, plus her kid was there to witness the whole thing.
