    My Name is Raine Amara. My friends call me Amara, Amara-chan, Amara-koi (my Gaia husband), Amara-oujosama. <br />
    While some people/not so close friends refer to me as Raine!    <br />

    Things that you need to know about me... <br />
    <br />
    I was born in the year 1980 on the 12 day of February, the 80's were punk was in style and bagets were the thing for children and teenagers...<br />
    <br />
    I joined the Gaia Community on May 24, 2007 (My Gaia Anniversary)<br />
    <br />
    I am a Graduate of the following Schools:<br />
    Elizabeth Seton School - Preschool to High School - "Loyalty Awardee"<br />
    University of the East Manila - AB Political Science (Pre-law) and Masters in Public Administration and Certified Professional Education (CPE) <br />
    <br />
    My Dream when I was young was to become a Lawyer, an Environmental Activist, an Artist, an Author, and Paranormal Researcher and Parapsychologist!<br />
    <br />
    But in Reality: I am a College Professor 1st, and a Writer and Researcher 2nd, by trade or This is my Job! So I have to love it or leave it! and a Paranormal Researcher Hobbyist 3rd. <br />
    <br />
    I am a College Professor of a Well Known College in Manila, but I started teaching on a different local college in my home city for a year. I'm currently on my 12+ years in teaching! (I never wanted to become a teacher in the 1st place! But after graduating instead of my Law proper I took up my Masters degree then my friends and family encouraged me to go into teaching...and Lo and behold I passed my Licensure exams for Professional Teacher...and I started teaching even took a two year hiatus to fulfill my dream of writing and research by going into journalism and yet I went back to teaching... so I stayed and to my surprise I enjoyed being a College Teacher! eek )<br />

    I was a full time writer for a local nationwide newspaper for a year, after I took a two year break from teaching (I was supposed to be soul-searching but found it hard to soul search on an empty stomach so I tried my hand in being a Journalists to earn some cash during my soul searching...) and I quite being full time after one year and went back to teaching but I am currently, still writing as a freelancer/contributor. <br />

    As for my third career/hobby to become a Paranormal Parapsychology Researcher, I was able to be mentored by an expert, as in a Doctoral in Paranormal Studies and Parapsychology so when I am on a break from teaching I am a Paranormal Researcher and amateur Ghost hunter as a hobby. <br />
    <br />
    I am was and still an Activist but I tend to focus more on the following issues: Environment and Pollution; The Youth and the Poor; and Education for All. In a way I am still fighting for justice in the streets instead of in the court rooms...<br />

    Things that you may not want to know about me...<br />

    1. I was born as a Roman Catholic Christian, but practice a bit of the following: Scientific Atheism, Some Buddhist practices due to my 1/4 Chinese genes, Some Wiccan beliefs, I also believe in Reincarnation and Karma, and I also believe in the Paranormal and Spiritual and Psychical Worlds. (etc.) So overall I'm a Multi-Open Minded Believer....<br />

    2. Due to my Grandmother's on my Mother's side of the family I have a partially opened 3rd eye, and was trained by my Lola in the arts of limited Family Spiritual or Psychical practices like: Family based Wicca or weird witch with the ability to read tarot cards and I sometimes feel and see ghosts and spirits around me...Third Eye anyone?<br />

    3. I make hand crafted candles, accessories and jewelries that I put charms to enhance a gems unique capabilities... I sell them too! Love candles and Lucky bracelets anyone!??(designs displayed in deviantart.com)<br />

    4. I'm a ragnarok addict my High Priest was lvl 99 already when my ragna files suddenly went caput on me waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHH!! I need to see my Priest my guild my castle all went caput on me snif snif snif...<br />

    5. I like roguerouge/Aidan songs, I like Aidan's songs he sings to my heart and touches my soul.... <br />

    6. I love and live and breathe HISTORY and even GOD History/Theological History but I absolutely abhor reading the BIBLE.....damn I'll burn in hell....(As a side note I love teaching Politics! I try to produce pro-active, responsible, emphatic citizens when I teach!)<br />

    7. I fell in love with the following manga/anime/live action: Sailor Moon(S1, R, S, SuperS and Star), Sailor Moon Crystal Seasons 1-3 and the Movies, Gokusen 1,2,3, Gokusen the Movie, Kyo Kara Maou, Basara, Red River, Seven Seeds, Skip Beat, D Grayman, Nodame Cantabile,, Fairy Tail, Yuri on Ice, Naruto, Bofuri and etc.<br />

    8. by the way My Gaian Astrological sign is Arca Constellation! Which describes me as: <br />

I teach Politics and Governance, especially addicted to teaching the Philippine Constitution and Forms of Government, Sociology, Anthropology, Archaeology, Logic and Ethics!<br />
