I'm Shadow, Shadow The Hedgehog. I really don't have time to sit and chit chat or tell you my life's story.<br />

To ease your concern about my existence, I was created by Professor Gerald Robotnik, because the GUN military acknowledged his genius and prowess. They wanted him to create artificial life at the Space Colony A.R.K. My friend..Maria, had a rare, but deadly illness called: Neuro Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (NIDS for short). So in lights of this Gerald accepted and boarded the A.R.K. He then named his project "Shadow" because of the sarcasm that a shadow cannot actually be created. During his research Black Doom assisted the professor, and long after that the military grew cold feet and began to fear Gerald's project. The military steps in, in hopes to destroy it all. Maria quickly, but safely took me to an escape pod, where I watched her final moments and heard her last wish, I was trapped and doomed for earth.<br />
<br />
For 50 years I spent imprisoned in "suspended animation" on Prison Island. Gerald's grandson, Dr. Robotnik finally released me, I was able to grant his wish to make the people fear him so that he could build his empire, I thrived on the fact Maria wanted revenge, but I was reminded of Maria's wish, through the wish Amy Rose had made. I suppose that the professor recreated my mind to make me believe Maria wanted revenge, when it was him who wanted revenge. I decided that I wanted to spare the human race, I wanted to save earth since it was Maria's home, I made a promise to protect it and give people a chance to be happy. In the last minute, Sonic and I stopped the A.R.K. from a crash course towards earth by using Chaos Control.<br />

Eggman later found my pieces and programming and rebuilt...not just me...but several other copies, of me. Which were later destroyed after the discovery of them.<br />
<br />
THE AFTERMATH<br />
I finally got cozy on earth being a lone mercenary, often times I found myself partnered with Rouge the Bat. I met a girl named Sweet Ashkally, but unfortunately because of complications, we were split up by force, not by choice. I didn't wish to chase after her, I figured she had forgotten about me. I just hope that she is happy where she is, where ever that may be.<br />
