I am... the cold blue flame...<br />
<br />
The eternal blue flames that envelope my heart...<br />...were started byyou...<br />

After screaming for what seemed like hours...<br />
My eyes opened to the darkness. It was no different from when my eyes were closed. Visions of the night before quickly flooded my mind as i sat up on Cain's bed. Nightmare.<br />
"Nightmare, huh?" said a smooth, seductive voice that could only belong to one person.<br />
A small candle was lit where I knew the table was at. The small flame emitted very little light but it was enough for me to see Cain's face. He was sitting on a small stool beside the bed, watching and waiting. The evil glint in his slightly glowing red eyes sent a cold chill down my spine as i instinctivley backed away from him. Bad choice, he stood up and crawled into the bed, a grin visible on his face.<br />
"I promised you it wouldnt hurt" he cooed, his cold hand cupping my cheek, "but you still cried"<br />
I looked away from him before i was further entranced by his eyes. I couldnt do anything about his voice... it was too much.<br />
"Do you fear me... ?" he asked, tilting my chin so our eyes would meet.<br />
I couldnt say it, my heart was beating too fast now... i knew i was seconds away from hyperventilating. Yes... "No"<br />
Cain closed his eyes and exhaled, his cold breath washing over my hot face. Reluctantly, he pulled away from me and walked away. His body dissapeared within the darkness and as soon as he was gone, the shadows lifted and the room became a little lighter. It was as if his very pressence brought the dark. "...I'm sorry..." his voice echoed in my mind, driving me nuts.<br />
I closed my eyes tight and pulled my knees up to my chest. Silently, i cried again. I wanted to scream.<br />

Why did it have to be this way? When the person i loved the most- the person i couldnt live without- was the one i had to erase from reality?<br />
<br />
I tried to reason with myself, repeating my argument with Daniel in my had over and over again, <br />
'he's just one person, Roxanne! One person! One person against the world!!'<br />
'You dont understand, Danny! I love him!'<br />
'That's not enough-'<br />
My hand began to sting, remembering that i had slapped him hard across the face... "Danny, I'm sorry..." I cried, hugged my knees tighter. I was sobbing silently at the painful memory of the only person who was always supported me. The person i could not save... from my own mistake.<br />
Slowly now, the world was crumbling and i was the only one who could stop it. My eyes started stinging as i decided what i had to do. It was only one person against the world. It wouldnt matter how painful it was... just as long as that person dies, the world and everyone in it survives...<br />
My tears stopped flowing as i looked up from my knees, my heart and mind already made up. I have to do this. I have to end it all. I have to save everyone. I have to kill him.<br />
My connection to central beeped once, i was connected. 'Aeros...' i spoke<br />
'Yes, miss Scarlett?' that young, calm voice replied<br />
'I'll do it. I'll make him dissapear. Tonight, two souls will vanish from the face of the eart.;<br />
'Excuse me? Miss Scarlett, you were only assigned one target-'<br />
'It was nice working with you Aeros...'<br />
'M-Miss Scarlett!! You cant possibly--'<br />
I disconnected as i stood up from the bed, the black silk slipping down my bare skin. I looked ahead into the dark and whispered, "goodbye..."<br />My eyes slowly close to lock away my feelings for you.<br />

I cry silent tears...<br />...as your heart stops beating<br />
I cant hide this pain...<br />...'cuz it keeps onrepeating<br />
