    Greetings and salutations, I am Louise Francoise le Blanc de la Valliere, third daughter of the noble family La Valliere who owns the north-eastern territory of Tristain. I am a second year student at the Tristain Academy of Magic. I am usually called a terrible mage and I'm often scorned by my fellow classmates and teachers because every spell I cast fails, so I was nicknamed "Louise the Zero" after my zero success rate and zero attributes. This has led me to be very bitter and occasionally cruel in the way I treat my pathetic excuse for a familiar, Saito, who I've nicknamed a dog, since he acts so much like one.<br />
    At first, I treat Saito like a dog, of course, making him lie on a straw bed, and even getting naked in front of him. I used to make him dress me and still makes him wash all of my clothes (including all of my panties). I am a typical tsundere type character, at first I hate Saito, but because of various situations, I grew very fond of him and even harbors feelings of love for him.<br />
    Along the time I stayed at Saito's side and got to know him, I changed the way I treated Saito. When I think he has perverted thoughts about other girls, or am jealous of or mad at him, I quickly beat him with a whip or blow him up with my magic, later on getting into the habit of kicking him in the groin from behind on multiple occasions. In one instance, I had whipped Saito for hours until he had wounds all over his body and later on I bought a more brutal type of whip.<br />
    Later it is revealed that my failure in performing magic of any of the four basic attributes is because, in fact, my magical affinity is with the rare and powerful Void element, hence being known as the Void User since then. This relies, at first, on the cooperation of Saito's ability to trigger it, even though we do not get along.<br />
