    Hi! My name is Aang, and I am destined to master all four elements, defeat the Firelord, and save the world. I am 12 years old, and the only known surviving Air Nomad; well, technically I am 112 because I was cocooned in an iceberg for about 100 years. I was born at the Southern Air Temple and lived there until I ran away after overhearing the monks talking about sending me away to the Eastern Air Temple to complete my airbending training. After I left, there was a storm, and me and Appa, my flying bison, were pushed under the sea. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in Katara's arms. Katara, her brother Sokka, and Toph are going to help me on my quest to defeat the Firelord, and save the world.
