    my name is alisa, and im 20 years old. i've been on gaia since '04.<br />
    i love to read to the point of obsession. i read like a starveing man eats, and enjoy amatuer fiction, fanfiction, fantasy novels, historical fiction, manga, and folklore/mythology.<br />
    i love anime and manga, as you find a greater diversity of ORIGINAL storylines in them, unlike most american literature, sadly. ( i am NOT a fan of twilight, it lacks any originality, and i've noticed most people who do like it like it for the romance that you find in most dime store novels.)<br />

    tamora pierce: she appeals to the feminist in me, as well as my love of midevil themes.<br />
    CLAMP: returning to my childhood with these ladies work, i've discovered an almost morbid sense of humor that i didnt notice when i was 10 or so. i enjoy their openness when it comes to alternate cultures, lifestyles, and beliefs, as well as their storyline styles.<br />
    matsuri akino: supernatural awesomeness for the win. gotta love her art style as well. elegent but not to much so, which is a nice medium.<br />

    i like playing zomg, and you'll often find me running around healing random players and thusly freaking them out. its fun~!<br />
