Look. I don't really want to be here. One of my friends suckered me into it. I can't expect to be around very much. Don't get too attached to me. I'm too distant...<br />

*places his book down on the end table of his dark red couch and looks over at you*<br />

...Well. My name is Pearce. That's what they call me, anyway. My real name...? Any of your business, really...? Yeah...thought so. Move along. <br />

Well...uh. How did you find me, in the first place? From Tsubasa? Or Kudasai? Or...Vic...*shakes his head a little bit, dispelling the thought* Whatever. Either one of those two. Well, they're my friends from...actually, we go quite a ways back. Tsubasa and I, at least. I think...maybe three years? Four? Some amount of years. Something like that. *smiles a little awkwardly - the expression looks lopsided upon his face, which is somewhat stretched with frown marks* Well, Tsubasa made me move here about...a year ago. I guess it wasn't a bad idea; what with my little sister settling down with her husband a few blocks down the road from this apartment...it's not like I visit her or anything...but...it was still a good idea. And besides, this city isn't bad...it's so very busy and hectic but...I've grown so used to it. <br />

*lifts a hand to his face to push away some hairs that have fallen back into his eyes again*<br />
