Xiaoyu is considered cute and childish<br />
among the other female characters in Tekken. Xiaoyu's <br />
name is written in Chinese as 凌 暁雨 (Ling Xiaoyu), <br />
using the Chinese characters for "surpass", "dawn", <br />
and "rain", respectively. Xiaoyu's Tekken 3 and Tekken<br />
5 endings are the only ones that use a mix of animation<br />
and CGI.<br />

is a student at Mishima High School in Japan.Xiaoyu's <br />
fighting style was brought on with some influence from<br />
her distant relative, Wang Jinrei. Mastering her fighting<br />
style in real life would require a constant flexibility (Ex. <br />
Art of the Phoenix, Phoenix Talon, Mistrust, Flapping <br />
Wings, Front/Back Layout) and maneuvering.<br />
