- Description: This is my interpretation for the Norse Goddess Freya. In Norse mythology, Freya is a goddess associated with love, sex, beauty, fertility, gold, war, and death. Freya is the owner of the beautiful, golden, necklace, Brísingamen. She also rules over her hall in the afterlife,Sessrumnir, where she receives half of the souls that die in battle. Freyja assists other Gods by allowing them to use her feathered cloak and is invoked in matters of fertility and love.
