On the first dawn of spring, this pure hearted nymph began singing to the forest, welcoming the new buds on the ground.
Nearby, Pan, the god of the forests and fields, was mesmerized by the melody and went to investigate. Upon seing her, he became captivated with her beauty. Startled, her song is interupted and she flees, only to be pursued by Pan, who was close behind.Out of fear, she turned heself into a lilac bush.
Lilacs symbolize wisdom, young love and remembrance. <3
