- Description: Long ago there once lived a maiden and a solider. They had a love far greater than any other and were to be married in a rose garden. On their wedding the solider was whisked away to war. He told the maiden to wait so she did. She never left the rose garden and when winter came she froze solid. The solider never came home, but to this day there is a single white butterfly that never leaves the maidens side.
