Well, I didn't really think it mattered so much that some of the items were cheap. An avatar doesn't have to be composed only of expensive, rare items to be good. Like you said, matching, making it fit without appearing too cluttered is the key. If you can make cheaper items looks great, hey, the more power to you.
Besides, I thought using the Regalia and Leviathan items were appropriate, seeing as they were bestowed upon me by the Righteous One, himself.
