One such story is the Maiden of the Snow.
She was once a beautiful lady, beloved by all.
The story goes, that a god asked for her hand,
but she refused ; she had eyes for only one man.
The god, in anger took her to a mountain and raped her.
In shame, she never left the place.
Every winter, in the harshest blizzards, it is said that one can hear her voice, crying because of her fate"
