First Spring rains are said to be of good luck.
To me they were when I woke up.
I went to my garden to water the crops.
Next thing I know a girl was standing up.
Her pipe in a hand
pretending it was a wand,
and an umbrella to keep her from getting wet.
She smiled and I smiled when she say
"I am your Goodness of May".
