The story of Hermes Moon is often depicted as a tragic tale. The rabbit within the moon makes mochi when the moon is full. As the moon wanes, the rabbit dies... or so we think. The rabbit is only resting. In its slumber, it regains energy so that, when the moon is full again, it can awaken to pound mochi once more (^-^).
I first tried to personify the rabbit in Hermes Moon. The result was meant to be the Mother or Goddess that sees to the Moon Bunny's life - Date: 03/23/2008
