No one could have seen me coming.
I came to be on April 20, 2010, in the Gulf of Mexico.
Due to an explosion on the drilling station, thousands of gallons of oil poured into the ocean.
I leaked 42 thousand gallons of oil a day!
Small skipper boats and submarines, all did their part to help contain me.
This avatar is dedicated to the 11 workers who died in the station's explosion, as well as Gaia, other fundraisers, and of course, everyone out there who supported the clean up of me.

- I live in Florida. I've seen the beaches before, during and after the oil spill. thank you for dedicating this entry to the workers who died, to those cleaning up and to the oil spill itself. this rates more than 5/5. 1000/5

Mythic Hair, Essence of Venom, would have REALLY pulled this together...and I'm not sure how I feel about the pants. But overall it's a thoughtful entry and I'll 5 it for that.
