Karen Anne Carpenter (March 2, 1950 – February 4, 1983) was an American singer and drummer. She and her brother, Richard, formed the 1970s duo The Carpenters. She was a drummer of considerable skill, but it is for her vocal performances that she is best remembered.
She suffered from anorexia nervosa, a little known disease at the time, and died at the age of 32 from heart failure, later attributed to complications related to her illness. - Date: 10/10/2010

There's a reference I finally found. The hair may not be the same but she did have a hairstyle similar to the avi above during the very early 70's (71 mainly I think). And yes, I might add drums next time and maybe Richard LOL. I might add more of Karen's fashions in the future contests but we will see smile
