That's the thing. Your avatar is pretty, but inaccurate. From the neck on down your avatar is sub-par, but because it's pretty and part of her is covered in the reference the voters rate highly. You can't expect voters to go -okie dokie- whenever cosplayers play the -gaia's limitations- card. You're expecting too much when you have many flaws and hope for 5's after blaming gaia for umpteen mistakes. Doing your best with what gaia has to offer can only go so far. How are my suggestions poor?

Also, it may be slightly off, but what's more important? Having a pretty avatar that is very similar to the character? Or going out of my way to make the avatar look poor, with your listed suggestions, that you believe would make it look more accurate? It is not perfect, and will not be. I feel you are splitting hairs with my avatar to the nth degree.

If you recognize that gaia's limitations hinder it, than how can you tell me that is it so greatly off? The majority of the people viewing my avatar could either A. Instantly tell who the cosplay is of, or B. Recognize the large amount of similarities there are between the reference and my cosplay. The headband is only good in some situations, and in this one it would have made the avatar look, to my expectations, not good.

The headband isn't as noticeably crappy as you think it is. It's just a small line. There are other ways to have small feet than going with that choice. You can try layering the spirited gloves like sailor moon cosplays to get a color close to pink. It's not the matching arena. The black was off. You sorta canceled out the effectiveness of the defined breasts when those sleeves appeared. I wasn't expecting perfection. It's a good try, but gaia's limitations severely hinder it. =/
