What is the musical Cats all about?
The actors and actresses were wigs, excessive makeup, unitards, and tails to make their cat costumes. The musical takes place in a oversized junk yard at night. Once year cats from all over gather for the Jellicle Ball (All CATS are called Jellicle), were they all have the erge to dance and sing under the full moon. At the end of the Ball, Old Deuteronomy, the leader of the cats, takes a selected cat to the Heaviside Layer (a sort of "cat-heaven").
