Eros, the Greek god of love and passion, and the son of Aphrodite. His Roman name was Cupid, now seen today as the cute winged baby on Valentines cards.
With his arrows of love, he inspires obsession in anyone he shoots theem with, and his arrows of distaste inspire the exact opposite effect. He's usually depicted blindfolded, to represent that love is blind.
