Monkey D. Luffy is the protaganist of the manga, One piece.
He is a strong young man with the ability to transform himself into various sea creatures, including, but not limited to: octopus, and merman.
I tried my best to make use of gaia's items to best represent multiple of Luffy's different regular transformations, and not to brag or anything, but I think I've done an above-average job compared to some of the other cosplays around here.

- I have never seen a less accurate portrait of Luffy I've ever seen. I have never seen him like this, and because I haven't you need a picture that matches. I don't ever remember him like this, unless you can prove me wrong. 1/5
