- There is no rule that says you have to have a reference pic, but in the cosplay arena it's very hard to judge fairly without one. Most will automatically down rate you for not having one. If you say that it is "your interpretation", then that pretty much puts this in original- regardless if it's a real person or not.

- I'm pretty sure in the rules it does not say that you need a ref pic guys. And so what, it's my interpretation of the folk tale. I can make it look how I want.
