• I stand by a fire.
    The snow is like
    stars reluctant to
    fall fall fall.
    The fireplace tries
    to hush my shivering,
    my chattering, but
    I still feel the
    coldness inside.

    I step out,
    I want to go
    about, but....
    snowy nights
    have no lights,
    so I
    will be lost,
    lost, lost, lost.

    But still, I want to
    go out there,
    but I'm too tired.
    I got my coat,
    fitted into my boots,
    too big,
    too large,
    and went out there
    to see my
    little ones.

    The snowy night,
    smiled at me
    and gave me
    a gift, a generous
    present of
    snowflakes shining
    in my face.
