• The stocking are hung
    And the fires burn low
Upon the tree lights softly glow
The tinsel glitters in the nights pale light
Outside the snow covers all so cold and so white
The children lay sleeping so warm in their beds
While dreams of Christmas fill their small heads
The songs have been sung their stories all told
Of sleigh bells and snow men bringing joy to the world
And up above a top a snow covered house
Nine graceful reindeer stand quiet as a mouse
And down below by the tree dressed in red stands a man
Leaving toys for the good little girls and good little boys
With a bite from a cookie and a smile on his face
It’s back to his sleigh and to the next house he must race
And as the dawn breaks with the suns golden light
He calls to the winds, “Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!”
