• Ever so silent
    Snow creeps-creeps-crawls
    Down the silent airways
    Of the winter sky.

    Doing a dance of miracles
    Snowflakes snow, flake,
    Blend into the silent background
    Of another season's passing.

    Bidding adieu to summer, fall,
Reaching towards spring with a desperate grasp
    Freezing, choking, waiting
To be thawed and bathed in warm sunlight.

    Earth's little blanket, winter sleeps
    Slumbers
    Creeps
    Blunders

    All about mother Earth
    Her little veil
    In celebration
    Of solstice,
    Her wedding day
    To father time.
