• Though December 24 arrived, and the sky was gray
There was still something missing from this fateful day
“Where is the snow?” little Yuki had cried
At that moment it seemed, all of heaven had lied
That night, upon her window sill
Yuki gazed out at the world so still
Not a single flake of snow fell to the ground
She wanted to hear something but there was no sound
Suddenly bells were heard in the air
Jingling and ringing, erasing all fear
A diamond sparkle shone through the night
Upon Yuki’s face was a shadow of delight
A reindeer flew through the window so wide
And into the room it flew, inside
It spoke to Yuki with words of fright
Telling her the story of the snow queen’s blight
In this world there was only one cure
Dew from the Lune Blossom so pure
It grew from the icy ledge of despair
Guarded by a winged horse, a mare
Grabbing her backpack and binoculars for sight
Yuki joined the reindeer in the unison of flight
Upon arriving at the field of white flowers
The mare flew up, demonstrating its powers
“In order to continue” The mare announced
“You must pass this test or be trounced”
Yuki exclaimed “Bring it on, I’m not afraid!”
“You’ve passed the test. You are brave”
The mare allowed the duo to get the dew
But then the cliff began to go askew
“Christmas must be saved!” The mare exclaimed
“You must go on without me!” She explained
    “No way!” Yuki angrily cried
The mare, then suddenly, said goodbye
Yuki watched as the Pegasus went back home
The duo travelled onwards, passing an icy dome
It was the queen’s castle! Hip hip Horray!
It seemed like Yuki had saved the day
Just then the dew slipped from her fingers and fell
The glimmer of magic was gone as well
As they arrived at the snow queen’s chamber
The reindeer felt Yuki begin to whimper
Yuki whispered “Christmas is ruined and it’s all my fault!”
The reindeer stated, “It was never the magic dew! So halt!”
“I was really searching for a child with a spirit so brave”
“That their inner magic would be enough to save…”
    “The queen…” Yuki pronounced
She let a tear fall onto the queen’s mound
The magic awoke the queen from her slumber
And she allowed small Yuki to be her helper
Through the night, Yuki scattered dew into the sky
Crystalline snow was falling from the clouds up high
Just then Yuki awoke, it was all a dream
She began to sigh, as everything was what it had seemed
Opening the window, she discovered a glow
It was the morning of winter’s first snow
