- Description: Sunset on the shores of Lake Michigan in Michigan City, IN. I just think it looks like someone took a brush and watercolored the sky...I saw it happening when I was at Stop 22...a couple miles away...I drove as fast as I could and managed to run out to the beach before the colors melted away. I got a few funny looks for running out into the water with my boots on, but who cares when the shot is this beautiful!

This deserves to be framed and in a gallery or put into a book of sunset photography. It's not often that people are able to capture a near perfect sunset.
The color and the reflection on the sand is amazing the waves are caught in the perfect state of calm and not too wavy, and its so glossy, not to mention that the way the pier is it captures one of the outlines of phtography- lines of repetition.

She has another picture in the same location.
Notice how in the description it says, "For running out into the water with my boots on."
That sounds like she ran into the water and took the picture to me..
