  • Title: Drawing Needs Judging
  • Artist: DoIphins
  • Description: I want you to judge this drawing hard.
I want to know whats wrong with the eyes, hair, hands anything.
tell me what my strengths and weaknesses are,
do not judge the quility of the image because i do not have a scanner right now so that was taken by a digital camera
i didn't want to color it so don't make suggestions on that either.
c: also a nice comment is nice to get too <3
but besides that judging it will help me alot
    thanks <3 Enjoy

  • I also suggest drawing the head a bit smaller, and perhaps add a background. Also, the composition could be improved by making her smaller, and position her arms and legs elsewhere. Instead of her legs and arms just being straight up and down, it would look better if you had some negative space. If you did something different with her hair, perhaps having it swaying or up slightly, that would help as well.

  • I'd try looking at guides to human proportions like this one : http://www.realcolorwheel.com/human.htm (or, ideally, a friend who's willing to model for you) to start making the drawing more realistic. Looking at it myself, I'd try to relax the shoulders and make the neck and wrists thicker.

If you don't want to go full out and shade the piece, you can simply darken the important lines of the drawing, such as outside the edge of her body. It will make the image pop out of the page a bit.
