- Description: Kyle Mitchell is fifteen years old. He serves aboard a merchant vessel called StarFlight 6 and is what's known as a deckrat. The lowest ranking crew-member, he gets all the jobs that no one else wants; cleaning up spills and the vomit from space sick passengers, changing fuses, loading and unloading cargo, crawling through the ducts to check on wiring, cleaning dishes in the galley. It's not easy work and it doesn't pay much, but it got him off the dead end dirt ball of a planet he was from.

- Couple of notes regarding the design, the twin belt harness he's wearing over his shoulders is meant to be a sci-fi version of trouser suspenders. As well as holding up his pants (which are at least two sizes too big) they form part of his uniform, giving him a place to hang tools and equipment for his job. The thing on his arm is a bodycomp; part computer, part communicator, part mp3/handheld games console, part tricorder.

- The glowing things on his harness are meant to be 3D Optical Disk recorders/players which are linked wirelessly to his body comp and provide data storage for the device.
