- Instead of drawing individual scales, do a ridged outline and occatonal patches. This is a simple and effective way of making the entire thing look like it's scaled. Have you ever heard of Neon dragon? Google it and visit her website. This will give you something to strive for. Overall i would give this 4.7 out of 5, the claws are the slightest bit off. Rounding it up though, 5/5.
