What's wrong with lots of hair? Who said she didn't use a bunch of mousse to create a very full coif?
As for the hand, you had said on one of your art submissions that leaving out the finer details of a hand is a common way of stylizing.
The folds were not intended to be any good, as I had just simply scribbled them down.
