Description:
The main purpose of this piece was that I wanted try and use no hard line's on this work and to see if I could try a more realistic approach in coloring this piece. Also the theme of this work was to show entrapment and hope for the harpie who only wanted to be free from her ice prison.
-_-;; I really don't think I did a god job on expressing the entrapment and hope themes that I was going for, but I like the overall effect, so I hope that you enjoy it anyway. - Date: 03/04/2004

- is the eye suposed to be that big? it looks dispropotionate to the rest of the head. this is a very strong piece of art though! i love the glowy-ness.

It is very beautiful and well done, and i love the
colours, but the head seems oddly shaped, but
other then that great use of detail and colours!
