Last week (05-25/23) my friend and I went to the shore of the Ohio River. Gross river, honestly but still fun to play near. Well we explored the shore of it that was away from trails and it was covered in all sorts of greenery. While we were trying to get closer to the edge of the water, we failed, mistepped, and our feet ended up hitting muck that was disguised as sand! But instead of stepping ON it, we stepped IN it. So our feet sank deep enough our shins were covered in muck and sand!

We had to sit on the rocks jutting out to stabalize ourselves. Pulling out did not aid us at all. I kept losing my shoes in it so I reached for a nearby stick and dug into the muck to release my feet.

We ended the day by bathing our shoes (and getting my tub all muddy LOL) and getting clean. It was actually fun to think of how to posture myself in my limited room to try digging my feet out without sinking my rear in!
