"A-Alyss...what in the world is this place? It's just so....different." Ian began to himself, laying on his side on the rock hard floor, grieving his mother Alyss's death.
"I don't want to run. They seem nice. Very....very nice...."
He felt an immense pressure on his chest, and he shoved off Melanie, who was freaking out for him.
"Ian, please eat. It's not fun....watching you fade away like this. About Alyss.....you should just be glad she wasn't Taken In. It's better to die of old age than that. Actually, dieing in any way shape or form is better than THAT." Melanie said earnestly, grabbing his hand and pulling him up, almost failing.
