I wrap my arms around my sheets

*You can tell that i wrote this song late at night. It basicly describes the feeling where you are thinking about someone at night, and you want to think about them so much, so you try not to fall asleep.*

Are we all murderers, who lust for death and destruction?
Cause we neglect and we destroy, all for tainted construction
And we destroy the soil, and make a wave of sin
As we all sit so numb at home, the ocean’s coming in

We kill and kill in cold wars, and kill our own selves too
Cause everyone’s worth you or I, but we deny it’s true
One man cannot save the word if we all kill each other,
Instead of saving one man’s life, we go and end another’s.

And now we’ve made a killer beast and poisoned all the air,
And mother earth is fading now but no one seems to care
Our beast she went for New Orleans, but lest we soon forget,
Our victims die so young tonight, but its not over yet.

Now how low have we sank, below the raging sea?
Now we’re the only ones to thank, just them, and you, and me
Cause we destroyed the ozone layer, and soon we’ll say goodbye,
If we just sit so numb at home and wait for earth to die.

I scream this so you’ll hear me, but no one understands,
We’ll only learn when we all fall, and die by our own hands
And everybody wonders if she will come again,
And we’ll all sit so numb at home, waiting for…

I remember the first day i saw you in the rain
Your hair was wet at the time, but i knew you'd soon be mine
I had to go before i fell in love, but i was too late
I couldnt tell what was rain, or tears on your face

The sapphire rain was there on our very first kiss

The rain, it looked like sapphires, the clouds were crying jewels
Then you looked at me, and I looked at you
Now I'm about to kiss you, so stop me if you can

*This was the very first song i ever finished with a full band, and its pretty cool because it has a two-part harmonized guitar solo, but i bet half of you dont understand what that means, haha.*

It seems as though these past few week have been a living hell
I've lost my friends, no loving hands to love or make me well
It seems as though you didn't know my life's a raging storm
I'll end it now, I'm colder now, at least in hell its warm

The world will hear my SOS when I'm lying on the ground
My left hand lying by my side, that's where my will is found
My right hand holding on the blade that's just run through my heart
Straight through my chest, eternal rest, released and slipped into the dark

And if you see this loving blade that I grasp in my hand
You'll see no ropes or guns at all, ill take it like a man
Some will say I'll lose it all, but I'll find it all today
I'll find the purpose of my life, when I fade away

And oh my love please hear me now, and no, its not a dream
Will you come try to save me, or kiss me when i leave?
I'll leave behind this anguish, still living when i die
I guess this really wasn't a textbook suicide.


*I wrote this song when I was in a very sad state, but luckily that time is passed. If you have read this, please realize that this was only an artistic expression of my feelings, and that suicide is not the answer to any problems. I felt likei wanted to die when i wrote this, but then i later realized that all wounds heal, it just takes patience, and a positive attitude.*
