Chapter Three
Kilinda placed her hands over her ears, "SHUUUT UUUPPP!!!!" she screamed. Kilinda threw a pillow at Nadia and Nadia stopped screaming. She soon was gasping for breath. Nadia shook her head a bit, "What was that for?" she asked, rubbing he head where Kilinda threw the pillow at her. Kilinda snorted, "Kid you were screaming in your sleep. I've got a major head ache, and your screaming makes it worse" Kilinda said. Nadia thought for a moment. She never screamed in her sleep. At least no one ever told her she did. Why did she start now? Why did the latest murder bother her? Nadia looked at Kilinda, "When do we get out of here?" she asked. Nadia always had to stay hidden after a murder, but it was only for a little while. Kilinda thought for a moment and looked at her, "Sorry kid, but I gotta keep you her for a while. The police are more active about the murder yesturday. The military is in on it too. They have an alchemist on the job, well they'll never catch ya. A few others are coming, ten, sixteen, and eighteen are coming for you" she said. Nadia had a worried look on her face. The military were trying to find her. This didn't look good. But at least some of the other memembers of Blood Stone were coming. In Blood Stone no one had names, they had numbers. Ten was a boy with honey brown hair named Jacob. Sixteen was a girl with light blond hair named Kara, and she was Nadia's best friend. Then finally eighteen was a girl with curly red hair name Molly. Molly and Jacob were special sweet hearts. Naida nodded, "Ok when will they be here" she asked. The door burst open and stood Kara, "We're here" she said. Kara walked up to Nadia and gave her a big hug, "Nice to see ya kid" she said. Nadia smiled and hugged Kara back, "Nice to see you too" she said. Kara and Nadia had been friends since day one. Even before Nadia was an 'actual' member of Blood Stone. In truth Nadia had entered Blood Stone as a test subject. She tested the unsafe and unstable chemicals Blood Stone made. Soon she moved up to do work. Soon Jacob and Molly appread in the door way hand in hand. "Hey kid" Molly said. Nadia smiled at them both, then Kilinda spoke up, "You guys get out of here. Get twenty two out of here" she said using Nadia's number. They all nodded and Kara grabbed Nadia by her wrist and ran out of the room. They all started running out of the room and headed out of town. While running Kara asked Nadia, "How was the kill, and how much you get off of the dude" Kara always asked Nadia how she did. Kara always cared about Nadia and Nadia knew it. "It was ok, we got a lot of money. I just hope Kilinda don't spend it all" she said. Molly gigled a bit, "I'm sure she won't do that, she's not like Kara here" she said. Kara nodded her head then thought a moment, "Wait a sec. HEY! Thats not nice Molly" Kara said just realizing Molly insulted her. Molly gigled again. Nadia rolled her eyes. Everyone was like this. An agument here, a romance there, a bloody fight everywhere. Things weren't safe. But Nadia had no where else to go. They kept running for hours. They soon reached another hotel. They found and abandoned building and they stopped there. Inside was a old couch. Nadia sat down on it and Molly sat by her. Molly held Nadia like a little girl, "Oh Nadia, sweetie, we won't let the police get you" she said. Molly held her tighter in a protective way. Nadia was wide awake and knew she wouldn't get any sleep. Jacob sighed and walked over to Nadia, "Listen kid, you gotta get rest. But looks like all that running and the excitement from yesturday has you wired" he said. Jacob grabbed a needle and syringe. He filled it with a light purple liquid, he then injected it into Nadia's wrist. Nadia glared at him, "What was that for?" she whined. Nadia tried to get up to punch his face out, but she couldn't. Nadia blinked a few time and each time her eyelids felt heavy. Naida knew this feeling. This was a sirum made especially to make a person fall asleep. One of the many drugs tested on Nadia. Soon Nadia drifted to sleep. But in her mind the nightmare kept playing all over again, and this time Nadia had a hard time waking up. So she sat sat threw the nightmare. While Molly, Jacob and Kara watched. "Poor girl, she's getting guilt nightmares" Molly said. "Theres nothing we can do with her. Just let her deal with it. In the morning we'll give her something to numb out the guilt" Kara said after she sat down next to Molly and placed her hand on Nadia's head.
