Chapter One
"Common kid, wake up. We don't have all day, get up before I slit your throat" said a familiar, harsh voice. Nadia blinked twice. She looked up to see a woman with short, black purple hair, and a eyepatch over her right eye and wearing a small kimon. "I'm up Kilinda, no need to slit me" Nadia said. Nadia stood up. She was a little dizzy from the night before. A bunch of other members partied, and Nadia joined. She had enjoyed the party, she smoked drink, and injected heroine like she always did. "Where are we going today?" Naida asked. Kilinda sighed. "Were going to this mansion. If we take the owner out we'll have money to last us a while." "Sounds fun lets go" Nadia said. She headed up to the upper level. She passed some drunken people. Most of them were asleep. Some were smoking, or snorting some drug, others were just lounging around. Nadia walked over to where some people were snorting drugs. She rolled a piece of paper and placed it to her nose. She leaned over to where the powder was. She snorted up the powder. She removed the paper from her nose and closed her eyes. She savored the moment, she loved the feeling she got when she sniffed meth. "Perfect" she whispered. She stood up straight. She went farther up to the top floor. Kilinda was standing in front of a door, "Open up and lets get going" she said. She moved out of the way and let Nadia in front of her. Nadia steped foreward. She took off the medallion around her neck. She placed it into a circle shaped slot. She pressed inside the slot and the door opened and Nadia placed the medallion baak around her neck. She stepped through the door and into the light. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly. She look to the east and saw the sun rise. "Beautiful morning" Nadia said. "The last one the old man will see" Kilinda added, "Lets get this over with, I wanna get the cash and get out, you can slice him if you want, I could care less" Kilinda walked ahead of Nadia. She soon began to run geting faster and faster. She needed to get to the town where the man lived. So they needed to get to the nearest town and get on the earliest train. "Sounds fun" Naida said. She soon started to run after Kilinda. She soon caught up with her. They kept up the same pace running towards the town. It was about thirty minutes after they began running when the town got into view. They entered the town and jumped onto one of the buildings. They jumped from roof to roof until they reached the station. The train was pulling away. They ran onto the plaform and jumped onto the top of the train. "Made it" Kilinda said. Nadia sat down on the top of the train, she tried to catch her breath. "If ya didn't get high on those drugs you'd be able to run faster" Kilinda said in a teasing voice. "Shut up" Nadia said. She hated it when people made fun of her about the drugs she did. She tried to ignore them. "Well you don't see many little girls smoking pot, snortiing speed, and injecting heroine. You've been adicted since you were twelve, and your what fourteen now." "Yeah." "Wow kid." They talked throughout the entire train ride. When the train stopped they jumped off and jumped onto a building. "Lets get to the mansion" Nadia said. They jumped from roof top to roof to. They soon made it to the mansion. The climbed to the roof. "Lets find a vent for you to crawl into" Kilinda said. She looked for the vent. "Found it" Kilinda said. She opened it and pulled Naida over to it by her hair. "Get in" she said harshly. "Hell no!" Nadia said. She didn't want to jump into the vent. She didn't know where it went and she didn't want to find out. Kilinda growled at her. She pulled her to the ground and shoved her into the vent. She then closed it. "Get inside the house and kill the dude, and open a window or somthing for me to get in!" Kilinda yelled. Naida sighed. She crawled through the dark vents. She kept going forward. She made a few turns. It felt like hours to Naida. Soon she found the end of the vent. She busted through the end and jumped onto the floor. "Finally" she said to herself. She looked around the room. There was a painting and the floor had a beautiful rug. The funiture was gorgeousd, made of leather. "Nice place she said to herslef" She walked through each room. She looked for the owner of the place. She had a job to do and if she didn't do it soon, she have a very angry Kilinda to deal with. Soon she heard footsteps coming from a room at the end of the hallway. She walked swiftly to it. She opened the door gracfully to see a man standing there. "Who are you? How did you get in? I'll call the police if you don't leave" he said angrily with a tint of fear in his voice. Nadia walked closer to the man "William Helms, say your prayers" Naida said. She slowly pulled out a fan from her side. She slowly opened it showing the elegant design on it. A gentle breeze flew through the room. It circled around them slowly, soon getting faster and faster. Her long, black hair flew around her face. The smell of lavenders filled the room. Her red eyes seemed to glow. Making her already pale skin look paler but still look beautiful. A smile spread across her face. This was her favorite part of her job.
