Book 1
Prologue

Sakura



The Kingdom Sepol has long been in war with his neighboring countries and islands. It mostly began when the famed King Hector mysteriously died and his throne went up for grabs. Naturally he did have an heir, but the heir also disappeared when he died. As of such the kingdom was then turned into a Queendom when Hector's sister, Alicia, took the throne. Unlike Hector though, Alicia did not favor her brother's 'friendly' approach to the people of Sepol. She ruled with an iron fist and the tongue of a serpent. Eight years ago, a female knight of Sepol decided it was time for changes in power. The knight rallied the people in claiming that Alicia killed their beloved king with poison; upon his death she looked at his body and found his wine mug in hand. Alicia then tried to kill the knight, but she was loved by the people and they sent her away before they could do so. This in turn, proved the knight's statement that Alicia DID kill Hector. Many revolts followed along with many deaths.

The knight, Sakura, found the pirates of the neighboring country of Nei. She convinced them to helping her bring some people of Sepol to Nei in hopes of making the king notice her cause. Sakura's main goal was getting Alicia off the throne and giving the country to Nei as a gift IF the king would aid them. However, the king did not agree or perhaps wanted nothing to do with Sepol. In the past, he and Hector never real saw eye to eye.

Sakura had nearly given up when the son of the king, Thomas, decided he would aid her instead of his father. He rallied many followers to form a crew and take down Alicia. In the end, they did succeed, however Alicia disappeared and was not killed. Sakura knew that Alicia would hide until Sepol was weak again so she asked the people what to do; "HAIL SAKURA! QUEEN OF SEPOL!" was their answer. Sakura was then crowned queen of Sepol and she returned it back to its beautiful manner.

Then one night when Thomas went to go check on her in her room, Sakura had vanished. There were two things that remained; one was her sword tinted with red flames and two was a note that read,

Tom,
Sepol is yours now. Bewhere of Alicia, that hag will return. The Ages are taking me with them down a path of time. I will return with a new hope and the true heir of Sepol.

Sakura's last words came true, Alicia was spotted in a Nei. Thomas now worries for his father's saftey and sent many knights to bring his father here to saftey. They were too late, Alicia had murdered the king and killed the knights also. It is said that Alicia gained the power of a rune of sorts and attach it to her head. This rune made her powerful and she controlled the seas around Nei to make whirlpools to stop Thomas from trying to come save the people.

But he still holds fast to Sakura, his captain, that she would return to aid him in this new war.....
