Sera's Public Journal
If you don't like it, don't comment on it. I might vent or rant. I'm not immune to certain stresses, and this doesn't really help. You CAN NOT and WILL NOT hold me responsible if you're a subject of this journal. Cmon, it's not like anyone will know.
Back to school.
I don't like this. One bit. Not at all. Went back to school. Didn't like it.

My schedule is all messed up, and I can't take cooking. Stayed for the first 3 periods in my study skills class. We tried to sort things out. I come in a half hour later, and I get out alot later, too.

1st. Study Skills
2nd. Digital Photo
BRUNCH
3rd. English IV
4th. Study Skills
5th. Woodshop
6th. American Government

I go in around 8:30 AM, get out around 2:55 PM. I get an extra hour of sleep, not that it will matter for anyone.
English teacher is nice, she's my old Geometry teacher's wife.
Woodshop teacher is as nice as nice can be. Would give you the shirt off his back.
American Government teacher's sharp as a tack.

We'll sort out my schedule. One of those study skill periods will be clerical work for my teacher.

Other than school, we made bath jelly. Here's the recipe.

BATH JELLY

Parents, if you don't feel like using bubble bath for your kids, this is the perfect substitute (Just make sure they know it's not edible, no matter how nice it smells!). It's also a special treat for bathtime if you're just alone. Put 1-5 spoonfuls in a tub of hot water, stir until dissolved. Be careful, as koolaid can stain the tub, floors, clothing or towels.

You will need:

Microwave
Knife
Glass measuring cup
1/2 measuring cup
1/4 measuring cup
1/2 cup clear glycerin soap (Bought at Michael's Crafts. Use the soapmaking kit.)
1/2 cup 99-100% aloe vera gel (Bought at Rite Aid, easily.)
1/2 cup witch hazel (Bought at Rite Aid, easily.)
2 packets unsweetened powdered drink mix in the flavor of your choice. (Koolaid is PERFECT for this. Use the packets, they sell them at Safeway or Target. Strawberry and Orange are the best starters, though I used Strawberry and Grape.)
2 jelly jars (Preservative jars, if you got them.)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cut the soap into cubes, and melt it in a glass measuring cup in the microwave.

2. Mix aloe vera, witch hazel, and glycerin together. Stir gently to avoid making bubbles.

3. Pour the mixture into two separate jars. Add the powdered drink mix, individual packets to individual jars, stir gently. The bath jam will set as it cools. Give it about twelve hours.

Oh, by the way. You can decorate the jars, if you want. I put a handmade circle shaped sticker on the top of the preservative jars so it looked like a label. Grape and strawberry, respectively.
