Sera's Public Journal
If you don't like it, don't comment on it. I might vent or rant. I'm not immune to certain stresses, and this doesn't really help. You CAN NOT and WILL NOT hold me responsible if you're a subject of this journal. Cmon, it's not like anyone will know.
Hillsdale, Quilting Shop, and Cleaning/Organizing
Woke up at 9:00 today, showered, and went off quickly with my Mom (Yes, without eating anything.). We went to a shreddding event at a nearby park then headed to Hillsdale. We went and first ate breakfast at Boudin Sourdough (The best in the bay.), then we went to Sears to return some shirts Mom had ordered. Saw some watches I liked that were Hello Kitty, but I didn't wanna pay for something I'd likely never use. I love Hello Kitty like anyone else, I just don't wear watches. We explored the Sanrio Store, as it had moved again.... Hello Kitty Potty Seat, Baby Bottle.... You name it, it is made in Hello Kitty. Bought nothing. Went to Hot Topic. They had ONE Sailor Moon sweatshirt left in a size that didn't fit me. But I saw a Derpy My Little Pony shirt that I wanted, so I bought it, and I also got a Sailor Moon bookbag to use for the next schoolyear and for camping. Went to Bath and Body Works and BARELY managed to get away with only buying Pomegranite hand sanitizer, as I was low on grape. Mom bought soap for the kitchen. Peony Raspberry, Fresh Picked Raspberry, and Blackberry Vanilla. We headed out, happy. Went to a quilting shop and I decided sometime soon I'd like to make a quilt with minky fabric. Now don't get me wrong, I can't quilt worth anything, but I can sew straight lines juuuust fine. Headed home, and I spontaneously decided to clean up my room, reorganize my desk, and clean my bathroom. Seeing as I wasn't gonna need to use the computer downstairs anymore, here's what I did, and not necessarily all in this order:

Began laundry.

Cleaned beneath my desk, ontop of my desk. Moved everything that wasn't being used off.

Reorganized and cleaned out my drawer next to my desk.

Cleaned out drawer from downstairs next to the main computer, brought up stationary and writing accessories, neatly arranged them in my pencil cup and in my newly cleaned out drawer.

Set aside plastic boxes for my games and gaming systems. Where my old computer sans internet once was, I stacked my games, gaming systems, and other things down there.

Put Playarts doll parts down there, along with pony hairbrushes and pieces that came with them.

Stuck my stress toys from my drawer downstairs into a box, put that box with my games, also. Set out a pleasant array of sensory to touch when bored.

Brought things from upstairs that I didn't need to use, downstairs.

Washed off my whiteboard and stuck more magnets on it.

Stuck the books from my part of the shelf downstairs next to the computer on the alcove on my desk upstairs. Also organized my bookshelf on the other side of my laptop and put some stuff in my closet. Made room for a few new titles that I've been wanting. But we'll get to that. I'm still trying to find a place for my huge textbook of mythologyqr

The most horrifying thing to you likely was: Cleaning beneath the sink. Yes, I cleaned beneath my sink. It used to have a fishtank and stuff. Cleared everything out and dusted and wiped up. Now it had used to have humidifier, cups, and alot of bath products. Got rid of the humidifier. I think you'd be horrified about the smell and what was under there. The surprise? It smelled good. I put my LUSH products under there, and as a result it was perfectly good smelling. Like citrus-y. Put bath products in a basket, along with spare soap and makeup and nail polish and whatnot other nice things. The result was a positively lovely under bathroom sink with perfect organization.

Scrubbed the floor. Yes, I got down on my hands and knees after removing everything and with a bottle of eco-safe sanitizer spray and a scrubbing brush, I scrubbed the linoleum like a peasant. Hee hee. Dried off the floor.

Removed everything off my boudoir and washed the sink, unclogged it. Lovely. By now I was partly way through my laundry and had opened ALL the blinds and windows (Even had to clean the blinds.) and turned on the fans to air out the room.

Vacuumed the carpet.

I probably did more, and I don't even remember. All I know is that I inhaled alot of dust.

We had gotten home around 1:10 and by the time I was finished with my room it was around 6:40 and I was extremely happy with the result. I'll burn a stick of incense after I wash ME from all this cleaning to make the room smell nice, and tomorrow I'll wash the bedding on my bed. Probably gonna wanna eat too, as I am starving.

The result, I believe, would have made a Chinese Cinderella proud.

As a reward to myself, I ordered the 3rd and 4th Books in the Return to Labyrinth series FINALLY for myself and the 4th book in the .hack//GU novel series. ALSO Finally. I feel really happy and accomplished, but something's lurking in the back of my mind....

Yesterday I went to the dentist and I discovered I have two tiny beginnings of cavities in the first two molars of my lower jaw. I made an appointment to have them drilled by the dentist next Wednesday on the 28th, and I've had 3 cavities prior (I take VERY good care of my teeth.), but I'm still afraid and don't like needles. Or the procedure. Or the numbness afterwards. Oh, and the icky medicine they give you to calm you an hour prior. I remember taking it when I was younger. It was green and it tasted HORRIBLE. Those of you who have had their teeth drilled before probably know what I'm talking about. My Mom promised me a chocolate milkshake from In-N-Out Burger afterwards along with Johnny Rocket's for dinner after I recovered, and my friend, One Hell Of A Butler (Bless her.) told me to imagine Sebastian Michaelis' abs during the procedure. I did and it seemed both amusing and like it would work. I thanked her by sending her an actual pic of Seb's abs, and the hilarity ensued. After cleaning so much, I feel a little bit better, and a little more confident. It's not as bad as it was when I had my wisdom teeth out.
