I am getting really sick and tired of seeing my friends enlist. It's a pathetic and sad thing to see. They don't realize just how bad the military is. They don't realize how uncaring and stupid the military is. By saying this I mean our "noble" cause has only two reasons to it. America only fights because:
1. People don't have the same beliefs as us.
2. People are so successful as to threaten our economy and USA gets BBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW BUTTHURT over it, and so we OPRESS THEM.
The military is not a good thing to join. I've had friends join the military with the idea in mind of: There's nothing to do around here and no jobs so OH I KNOW ILL JOIN THE MILITARY AND GO TO SOME FOREIGN COUNTRIES AND SHOOT SOME GUYS DEAD AND COME HOME TO BE HAILED AS A HERO AND GET -ALL- THE p***y AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER. Then he goes and gets his leg blown off by an Improvised Explosive Device and bitches about how no girl wants to ******** him with a prosthetic leg.
The military doesn't care if you die in the line of action, either. They'll ship you home in a box with some bogus note saying something along the lines of "LOL srry ur son died lol n00b", they'll give you some stupid funeral, and then they'll forget about you entirely and replace you with someone newer and stupider.
Another thing. Where I live, it is mandatory for a man, once he reaches 18, to give his information to the military. There hasn't been a draft since Vietnam, and they say it isn't for a draft. I call bullshit. We're going to have WWIII REEEEEAAALLL soon and they're going to use that information for what? ******** DRAFTS. You DON'T need to give ANYTHING to those stupid ********. This country is one supposedly of FREEDOM and DAMNED if you don't get the choice of whether or not you wanna serve for a stupid cause.
ALSO. Why is it just guys? Why don't they ask women, too? It might be just me, but I find that really REALLY sexist. What do they expect us to do, just stay home and get knocked up repeatedly so they can have new troops in 18 years?
I don't think so. No son of mine is going to go against innocents.
