They say stress kills the youth
And love is only suicide
But looky here, right at me
I'm still turning this years tide.

A poem for a scatter audience.
I was bored. And didn't want to go to bed at 8:30 so I wrote a poem for you. Or typed it. Or whatever.

Bright.

Fast.

Faster.

Gone.

Slipped away, essence lost, no goodbye.

What would you say, if one day you died.

And there you stood among your friends
Telling them its okay, and still they cried.

My funeral was full of singing and dance.
Not rejoice but celebration.

And earth, she too heaved and sighed.
We are lost to earths bounds
never lost forever.

Let us wail and grieve for our lost ones.

For our soldiers and our mother's sons.

But never grieve
grievance is fruitless
when attatched to yourself.

An image in a mirror cracks.
A reflection in the water bends.
And forever the elements of change.
But never the memory, faulter to extend.
