"Really? This is a mistake?" Eon frowned, his temper rising.

"Look, I'm sorry but it can't-"

"Dark, I don't want excuses. This isn't fair to me. I try hard. I listen to you." He continued, not letting her get a word in. "I do everything, and now you tell me we can't be together? It's cruel."

Dark stared into space for a minute. Then she looked at him. Eon blushed - the expression on her face was one he'd never seen.

He was suddenly pushed onto his back, to the ground. She was on top of him, her lips pressed roughly against his. "Fine. We'll play this your way." She mumbled over his lips. He didn't hesitate in responding, his arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer.

The heat was almost unbearable, Eon realized. As if on cue, Dark's fingers were at his shirt collar, her claw running straight down the shirt, tearing it open. She ran her hand down his chest. He kissed below her jawline, her throat, collarbone - lower - his heartt racing...

Suddenly it was if time froze.

There was a loud snap tht echoed, but they ignored it.

Ignored it until Eon suddenly felt the air rushing over him. Emptiness.

He opened his eyes to realize he was staring up at the sky. Thorn stood beside him, a crazy look in his eyes, his chest heaving up and down.

Dark let out a gasp as something hit her in the side, flinging her off of Eon.
