AhiruTwin's Ramblings and Rants
I love to talk about something that I realy like in long, elated sentances, so watch out! I'll pretty much talk about anything from books to movies to food. ^_^
LOLWHUT? XD
Life has been an exceptionally good box of chocolates lately. heart I must break it down for you piece by piece. 3nodding

So today I went out and saw The Incredible Hulk. While it was predictable to the point of almost being in the realm of having a possibility of boring me, it was a lot better than I expected. If Marvel keeps doing this crazy thing where they hire good actors, they might actually have a good thing going! xd rofl Ed Norton was fabulous of Dr. Banner/Hulk. I wanted to give him a great, big hug. D': Liv Taylor was great too. She was all sensitive and awesome. whee And of course, you already know my opinion of the fantastic Robert Downey Jr. heart Touche indeed, ho ho!

The final fight scene can safely be described as the most epically gritty thing I've ever seen. xd Which is good!! It was literally the Hulk and the Abomination beating the s**t out of each other and that's the way it should be. stare heart I'm a fairly easily pleased person; all I need is a couple 'o gamma radiation OD'd dudes killing each other, and I'll be good. 3nodding *thumbs up*

The Stan Lee cameo was lacking in coolness. D: I wanted to see him go all gamma-green too! xd That would've been amazing!! And did you guys notice all the other Marvel tie-ins?! Like the Rienhart label on the cryogenic container?!?! rofl DO I SMELL CAPTIAN AMERICA, MARVEL?!?!?! I BELIEVE I DO. 3nodding *hive fives all around* I expect that the Avengers will safely be the most epic thing in existence at this rate. heart

In other news, I have a great story. xd rofl So on Saturday at noon CST tickets for the Breaking Dawn tour with Stephenie Meyer and Justin Furstenfeld went on sale. The closest one to me is Chicago, so I begged and pleaded with my parents until they consented to take me (as long as we could go to a museum or and aquarium or something so it counted as a family vacation; whatever). Me and my dad got on our computers to order the tickets from the theater and myself, my dad, and my mom all called the ticket office on our cell phones at five 'til noon. Of course, the site crashed. 3nodding Great huh? Wouldn't let you go to the page. "This page cannot be displayed" was the only thing our computers would show for twenty minutes. On the phone front, me and my mom were only getting busy signals and "all lines are busy" messages. We were in my room, and directly below us was my dad in his office. He got put on hold at five after. At fifteen after, I heard him talking to someone and said to my mom "OHMYGAWD HE'S MADE CONTACT." Another five minutes passed and we heard him give our credit card number and we knew we scored tickets. rofl He came up at twenty-five after and said "WE GOT TICKETS." and my whole family proceeded to do a group hug/victory dance of joy. heart

So I'm going to the Chicago show on August 5th. :'D I can't believe how lucky I got; I think the theater only seats 1,500 people total. I love my parents, except my dad keeps gloating about it ("I got the tickets. It was my Jew powers." "Uhhhh, Dad? No. Just no." wink

I'm so excited. xd heart To all those who couldn't get tickets I'm so sorry. To those who did, I hope you enjoy it. I will be bringing a camera, so maybe I'll get some pictures. 3nodding I'm gonna ask Stephenie Meyer to sign my copy of Twilight. Unless Breaking Dawn is even better than I think it will be, that is. whee

Ugh, I need some sleep now. Good night all. heart

Loves,
Kylie

The Hulk was actually voiced by the guy who played him in the 70's TV series, The Incredible Hulk (& Bill Bixby was the actor). ANOTHER TRUE STORY. TV Guide taught me such facts. 3nodding
