Tsunede's Thoughts and Troubles
Writing always makes me feel much better.
Shadows- Pt.4 Chap.2
“All right, on the count of three, Andrew, take her away.”

“But Master—“

“1…”

“Master—!” Andrew carried me on his back.

“2…”

“Master! Listen to me—!”

I looked down into the pit below the ledge we were standing on. It was filled with hundreds – almost a thousand stone spikes that would surely kill you with just one touch. Safe ground seemed like yards away, and even though Andrew was a great jumper, he still couldn’t reach that ground in one jump.

“3!” He pushed Andrew off the ledge. I closed my eyes and buried my face beneath my arm. I felt like screaming for help, and I thought that there was no more hope. When I opened my eyes once again, we were going to hit a spike. Instead, when he reached the spike, his foot just tipped off to one side and he jumped again. It was as if the sole of his shoe was strong enough to be made of steel, but yet smooth and soft enough to be made of rubber.

Andrew pushed off of the spike and we landed on safe ground. Now the arrows can’t get us. I climbed off his back and observed the place. There was a forest looked like it only had one type of tree: the American Beech. It had large branches that seemed sturdy enough to hold up to 5 adults.

Meanwhile, the older man was trying to fend off the arrows, but they just kept coming. Finally, they had knocked him off the ledge, and he was surely to hit one of the spikes with his back.
