Uncle Dimitri had no been kidding when he said magic was difficult. It was almost easier to shoot a gun than it was to make he perfect hand movements of the instructor. Fortunately he had only one magic class. His other classes were academic; math, English, and history. Trainee history was the history of Himelli, a country he had only heard of from his aunt.
“I’m Prof. Merces.” She smiled, freckles standing out on her cheeks. “Many of you may have heard my name before. The textbook I will be handing out is one I have written myself. Most of it is common knowledge. When the hero Chance Linkins emerged, that section is experience from being with him talking. The very last section is mostly from interviews with the last three heroes; Aubrey Celf, Pitch Luminos, and Keen Gabbro.”
Keen Gabbro? William interest was sparked. Why would someone who is regarded as a hero want to go out of his way to offer him help? What did Keen see?
