Robert and I just got screwed out of $200.
Story of my life, really.
At our last CRAPTASTIC apartment.. we put down a $200 security deposit, right? So, when you move out they either give it back to you or use it to repair damages. Not only did we tell them and document that there was a hole in the carpet in the upstairs closet, but that someone had tried to break into our apartment and that the screen on the window in the kitchen was all bent out.
So, guess what?
They ******** charged us for it all even though none of it was a) our fault and b) the hole was there BEFORE we moved in! Wtf?? Screw you.
So now we're only getting $60. We're pissed.. but there's nothing we can do about it since the apartment management changed after we moved in and they apparently (conveniently) lost everything...
