After local Toronto punk band "Running On Empty" broke up, the talented guitarist Justin Milne took a hiatus from the music scene all together that lasted 2 years. Around that time his long time friend Chris Klein, a Bassist of an Alt.Rock band "A Shade Of Grey" was Kicked/Voted out. This lead Chris to Justin and was able to get Justin to pick up the guitar again with a new inspiration for music, which would lead them into a the Post-Hardcore Genre.
However, they were lacking band members to complete this new project. They had problems finding the right members to complete the sound and ideals of where they were going to go with this project, if go anywhere for that fact. It seemed like a dead end for the two young musicians.
One weekend they visited me at my house in Oshawa. I knew many musicians around the area and they were kind of skeptical about seeing what Oshawa has to offer. I knew that there was this girl Marina Osmond, a talented, short fuse, opinionated vixen that can play the Guitar, Bass and Drums. I thought they should meet her, but as a friend of mine not a potential band member. I had no plans on introducing her to be a band member of Justin and Chris' band. She was a really good friend of mine and I thought she would be a good friend for Justin and Chris to meet.
In the coming months of meeting Marina, Justin and Chris ended up being really good friends with Marina. I then put the idea that she should be a part of their project. After about a week and three or four days Marina joined them and they created a working-name for the project called "Hierarchy Of Sin". At the moment they are fine with a three piece band, but they're leaving room for a fourth and final member.
